A Sneak Peek...

The new Vermilion Elementary School is almost finished!  We will be ready to move in at the start of next school year.  Students will be getting a first hand look on Thursday, March 26 when they will ride the bus over to check out their new home!

Career Fair!

We ended our Reading Celebration Week with a Career Fair in the gym on Friday.  Thanks so much to all of our parents who came and talked to VES students about their chosen professions.  Kids dressed up like the job they wanted when they grew up.  Even some teachers got in the game!  As for me - I dressed like I do everyday - nothing can beat this job!

Reading Celebration Week!

Today, March 2, was our kick-off to Reading Celebration Week 2015!  We started the day with an assembly featuring Stomper from the Lake Erie Crushers who taught us a bit about the game of baseball, the history of the Crushers and the importance of reading.  Students who complete their reading poster from the Crushers will receive 2 free tickets to a Crushers game and a pass to Castaway Bay!

Kids and staff celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday by dressing in red. black and white.  Our cafeteria staff made a special birthday cake that all of our kids were able to enjoy!
