Everywhere a Feast!

The day before Thanksgiving break brought out a lot of turkeys and feasting.  Classes completed assignments with a "turkey" theme, learned about the first Thanksgiving and sampled favorite foods.
What a great day!  Happy Thanksgiving to all our families!

Third Graders Give Thanks

The third grade music program was filled with songs of Thanksgiving.  Students had written a Thank You to a special person as part of a VTA writing project.  The winners read their Thank You letter while the words scrolled across a big screen.  It was a wonderful celebration of Thanks and a great merging of music, writing and technology.  Special thanks to Mrs. Lias, Mr. Hayes and Mrs. Greene for making this night special for our third grade families.
